Then you can specify what are you looking for: help, funding, financing or simply you can promote your project. Then you will receive feedbacks from people and in case you specified it, you can receive also pledges based on the kind of financing you were asking. Remember that these are only virtual offers and that Smashing Project doesn't manage money transactions in any way.

Smashing Project is a great opportunity to promote your project for free. With your project or idea on Smashing Project, people will be aware of your project, they could follow your progress and news and give you helpful feedback. Smashing Project has two main sections: the formal is Project Section and the latter is Idea Section. Idea section is meant to be used to suggest an idea and look if someone else has already realized something similar or just to talk about an idea and try to understand if it could be interesting to be realized. Project section is meant to be used when there is a strong will to start a project or when there is an already in-progress project and you want to promote it or to get fundings.
